Trail Rides

An experience to remember!

Our trail horses are professionally trained and will take excellent care of you! Come ride with us and explore the trails around gorgeous Folsom Lake and meander through picturesque forests with magical moss covered rocks and well-maintained paths. Check out the views from the saddle above the lake and on the beach next to beautiful waters (weather permitting).

FAQs:
Q: Can my child ride with me on the same horse? or Is it cheaper if I share a horse with another rider?
A: No, unfortunately for safety reasons and for the horse’s health and well being, there can only be 1 rider per horse.

Q: Can we run with the horses?
A: There is usually some trotting during the ride, depending on everyone’s experience.

Q: Do we have to wear helmets?
A: Children under 18 have to wear helmets. They are optional for adults. We do provide helmets.

* Able bodied: rider will need to be able to use both stirrups and reins, and be able to see, hear and communicate effectively with the guide

** Rides will leave as close to the scheduled time as possible.  Please arrive 15 minutes early to park and check in. Late arrivals will be considered NO SHOWS as we cannot hold up rides for tardy customers.
